Who makes 40mm Tudors?
Tried online to find a manufacturer of 40mm Tudor bowmen in vain. Can you help?
Have you tried Irregular 42mm range? Checked - nothing in the Renaissance Early Renaissance range but late medieval Crusades etc they have Archers http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/indexes/42mmindex.htm
Cast your own Viking archer with conversion potential https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIKING-ARCHER-40mm-scale-fully-round-Prince-August-moulds-molds-PA969-/191654066914
Thanks for your great ideas. I have gone with Romanoff Miniatures from Old Glory Uk 40mm Wars of the Roses. They will mix in well with other stuff I have...
Anthony, I haven’t got Tudor capped archers as yet. I intend to mix the OG/ Romanoff with Doug Miller 1525 German PeasantWar peasants and Elastolin. I will go with the older style of helmet as representing the older way of war as opposed to the Landsknechts representing the new face of war. Cavalry will probably be Irregular Miniatures 42 mm figures as they have the types needed.

ReplyDeleteAlan, I see that the OG/Romanoff archers wear medieval sallets-have you been able to find any archer figures wearing Tudor caps? Cheers, Anthony.
