The roll top desk ( aka painting table ) is invading the extension-
It is spilling forth across the wooden floor and threatens the peace and felicity of the household. Something needs to be done and not just moving junk a to place b ,watch this space...
Hi Alan- Your Painting Table looks very cramped- mine is a 6ft x 2ft length on Chipboard / MDF which I've build into a Table for my Shed- plenty of room which I find necessary rather than being cramped for space. Hope you solve the problem. Cheers. KEV.
ReplyDeleteCompact and bigou I like to tell myself.
DeleteSounds like a Sunday overall is in order!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, more anon.
DeleteAh, if only we all lived in a TARDIS how easier life would be.
ReplyDeleteNow why didn’t I think of that...
DeleteOh ! I know this feeling my hobbying spreads it's self across the house rather like lava - slowly but remorsefully .
ReplyDeleteLava is a lovely way of putting it. My youngest and not so crafty minded daughter cannot cope with how mine and my eldests hobby stuff spreads everywhere.
DeleteI've just finished shuffling stuff around to clear the gaming table. Some creative storing/packing of things into spare available spaces....
ReplyDeleteShuffling from pile to pile is a methodology I employ with gusto!
DeleteThe perfect time to reorganise and restore. You are not alone. Mine and the gaming table are also invading the living room as I sort through things and busily paint and make.
ReplyDeleteGood to see the shortbread emergency ration tin under the table!
The tin is sadly filled with 15th century Germans and not shortbread. An emergency rations kit is an excellent idea. This week I am going into Terra Incognito aka the shed and hope rationales things. Condensing unpainted figures into better organised boxes is the plan. I need decent weather before I can haul it out onto the patio , sort and return. I hope some forgotten figures emerge...
