The Battle of Maldon fought via Zoom using dbv rules...
A battle I've never fought though I am recruiting Saxons next. I love the poem and my favourite version is the one in Penguin Classics. Interesting to see a reversal of the original event. Stephen
My Zoom host read from the Penguin Classic book to us prior to the game to add atmosphere. The Saxons allowed them to come ashore as they threw a two on a D6.
